So Let Me Get This Straight??

Hey, all! Sorry I've not been on for a bit! Been workin' and have been 1.) tired as heck and 2.) trying to get my internet access on the road. Finally got up with my trainer on Tues. Got a load out of Conyers GA to Rocky Mt NC. From there to Morehead Cy NC to Tonawanda NY (but repowered to someone to get home ). The guy we traded with was going to Manchester NH. Trailer had a ripped mud flap, so we had to get that fixed before heading out this morning. I spent ALL FRIGGIN' DAY in traffic from NJ all the way into the consignee!!!!! I swear I downshifted about 1,000 times! Sitting now in a tiny truck stop off 3 in Bow something or other in the middle of nowhere. We thought for sure there wouldn't be any parking because, hey, we're in the NE after all! But, even at 8:30 pm it was wide open. Probably because it's WAY out in the boonies! Anyway, got a load out ofKraft in (i forgot & am too lazy to get out of the top bunk to look) MA to Sams Club in (same comment as before!) IN tomorrow. Whew! Y'all have a great night!

 

AMEN to that! We've hit so much traffic the last 2 days! Yesterday I drove 132 miles...in 6 hours!

 

I was just happy to have a place to park! Most of the few trucks that were there looked like drivers were on hometime and the lot was mostly empty. But, place is teeny tiny and they don't even have any ice except in bags. I just wanted enough for my cup!

 

Our load doesn't deliver until tomorrow at 7 am, so sitting at terminal in Springfield OH. Trainer went to ER last nite with chest pains, so she's on light duty today until ???? don't know. Enjoying the downtime right now. Only have about 25 more BTW hours before able to go team (yea <sarcasm>). Then s/b testing around the 27th or so.
