Do you all carry occupational insurance, if so where is the best place to buy it, and what are some of you paying. The agent I carry my other insurance with quoted about 160.00 @ month, seems pretty high.

Mine is about $180/mo. But premium is worthless unless you are comparing what the benefits are. I get $700/week plus medical (forget the limits) with no deductible.

    puncher Thanks this.

Minnesota doesn't require it for self-employed.

I was told for some carriers/brokers that require seeing something, you can get a policy for $750 per year

Thanks guys for the replys, yea Bill I know what your saying about getting what you pay for, but in honesty all I need or maybe I should say want is just a policy to satisfy the company I'm leased to, I've never been asked to carry anything like this before.

Minnesota calls it Occupational insurance instead of Work Comp.

I just plan to carry health insurance.
