I tell them it is not going to happen and they either take the load off me or have me pick up and relay with another driver. Like today put in a PTA for 05/15/12 0700 as I was only going to have 6.5 hours left today after unloading and picking up 4h22m and midnight. So they give me a load to pick up today in Edinburg tx going to Denver for a 0400 05/16/12 delivery. I get back 11h29m Tuesday night. So by that alone I can't do the load. I am happy that we got a mess of loads to pull but they can't over look the 70 hour clock on drivers and doing nothing but relays isn't going to make much money as I can see right now. I could be wrong on that. I just hate poor planning. Being in the military for sometime and being organized with proper planning is a must for me. I know it will get worked out for long but until then u am pulling what little hair I have out....lol

Well, I see I'm not the only one they've been running like crazy... LOLOL's... Life is good, but, the dad-burned planners need to learn how a truck runs... I've had a couple of run-ins with them myself... I'm sitting at the truck stop close to Holcomb right now...

Sitting San Antonio right now. Ran out of hours for the 3 day in a row and Otis only 11:30am lol. The dispatchers are great they are getting them to change the delivery time so I can drop off. But will have to run myself out of hours tomorrow to get close enough to deliver. Then I am going to get that Daymn jumper cord installed on my APU so it will stop die-ing.

@Daniel - That "reeferlink" is nice but those electric APU's can't keep me cool enough.
And, yes the dispatchers are awesome but they have to deal with all
    theflack from poorly planned loads.

Well, LOL's... I'm gonna get plenty of time to relax this weekend... Delivered at Ottawa, IL this morning, can't pick up till tomorrow afternoon/evening... And it doesn't deliver till 0800 Monday in Memphis, TN... Little over 500 miles for the whole weekend...

Lol I feel us bumper I fell tat way myself.

I hope that tweeter link is good chodarling. Just had it install but had to drop my trl at Tyson here in Amarillo. So for the first night I will not know how good. But at less it is installed. The dispatchers here are good. They work there butts off. The planners do the best they can also. At less I am hoping so. Found out that mark doesn't let them see the hours side of the Qualcomm for drivers do that explains a lot of the rushed planning. Don't see how they are expected to plan someone without knowing what they have for hours and how far they can go IMO. Well going to get some rack time. Tyson said load might be ready at midnight lol. Guess we will see.

Well almost in Atlanta. Load was ready at 0630 on the 19th instead of the 18th. Weekend dispatch was sending me msg's asking if I had the load and was moving yet. Guess the departing shipper msg didnt tip them off so I played around a little with them....lol Have to have fun when you can right? Either way unload in the am then off to Pilgrims in Canton so lets see how long that loading takes. The reefer link on the truck does help out a lot when running the ac. Now I can sleep with out getting up in a sweat. Well after I load in Canton then I m off to Davenport to Oscar Mayers. Dont have anything after that yet but the way the planners have been laying it out I am sure to have something in the next few days. Have fun all and stay safe.
