We have been keeping track of every single advance, and nothing in the $350 can be accounted for on his end. So someone is entering something erroneously on the companies end and screwing with him in the meantime.

We were under time constraints financially and the brainwashing in the orientation process sucked him in. Believe me. He regrets every minute of it.

There are no issues with his DAT report, and his recommendations from previous employers are excellent. Who knows.... He should be home in a few days...if they every get a load coming back this way. I appreciate all of your input, and I'll keep ya posted on what happens when he gets home, and we hopefully find out the truth. I'm keeping my fingers crossed....

Sorry Sweetie but I think your hubby/SO is bsing you. $350 advances don't just "show up" for no reason. There are one of two things that should happen

    1. Somehow an error did occur and the $350 is credited back.
    2. He is lying to you and you will just never see or get that money back.

Is he emailing you the pay statements?

I really hope in your case its #1 and not #2. Just be real and not real dumb it.

    Good luck,

    Screwdriver

Swift just took over the walmart dedicated account I have been on and Ocala does our dispatch. I can vouch for them being a bunch of idiots.

Due to a death in the family I had to leave Swift and get a local job. I was a company driver for 4 months and what they call an owner operator for a year. I experienced all the difficulties, trials and tribulations all new drivers experience. I cursed the company and the truck they rode in on many times. However, as time went on, I learned the ins and outs of trucking and working for Swift. By the time I got done with them last week I was driving my ### off, making good money and when I had a problem I either knew who to call or knew how to fix it myself. Moral of the story is that if you hang tough, are self-reliant and are willing to drive then you will be fine at Swift. Now pay attention to this next part. I stayed out anywhere from 60 to 90 days. If you go home once a month and park it for a few days you will NOT be successful. Those wheels have to be turning with your butt in the seat! Do not turn down load offers. The short runs have their place within your work week. Keep those wheels turning and you will be fine!
