he bought a $13,000 truck... 99% of the freight he has lined up doesnt go any further then that, and he doesnt want to be on the road anymore. A bunch of my dads friends run this same freight and are never more then 300 miles from charlotte and make killer money.
I've tried telling him to lease onto someone but he dont wanna be on the road lol, i donno i'll keep trying.

he's got full coverage, not sure what company or how much he's paying for it exactly but i remember it being a BIG number very exspensive. I'm not posting who/where/what the freight is lol im not giving nothing away, this company is my inheritance...and my future job lol
We've looked at just about every possible way of buying a trailer, truck needed way more work then expected, trucks been sitting in the driveway for 3 months not makeing a dime, and a new biz = no credit so no lone to buy a trailer. Trucks paid for though. And just as fast as we're finding $5k-$6k trailers guys are buying them before we can even call them

the jb power only deal is a lot better than the 90 cent plus fuel surcharge leases those big carriers offer.
you know, when ya got yourself backed into a corner, you cant be to picky., especially when you dont really know what youre talking about.
you got to get a toehold somewhere, and get started somewhere.
and if he leases on somewhere , he wont be using his insurance anyway.
you either cant be to picky and generate some revenue or you got a large lawn ornament. -
well where did the other 17,000 go? you better get humping, your inheritance aint looking good at the moment.
what kind of trailer are you needing? -
i know that, i've told him to lease onto someone, but he's tired of running the road, he doesnt want to spend more then 1 night at a time on the road, leasing on with most carriers he would have to be gone a little bit. And he's got a 1994 379EXHD so he's limited to where he can even lease onto due to tractor age, and its also got 24.5's and steel inside rims, a rather heavy truck, but just what he needs for what he's got lined up.
The container freight around here only pays enough to break even, he'd work 50-70hrs a week and maybe clear $50/week

Tell him to call these guys. I bought my last 3 trucks here and they will work with him. They have an in-house finance company they use and are A+++++
