Nah, it was an old gas station. Wrecker told me they dug up the tank. It used to be a 20 feet hole now filled with sand and gravel. The wrecker was $225. I asked the cop if id get a ticket, he said no I'm just here to help block traffic, unless you want me to make something up lmao

sitting in clearfield PA going over my routing yet again...trying to make a good in and out plan for NYC...I got a good grasp so that means I will get lost as hell...LOL...had to call routing today because the route they gave me to get to jersey a truck is not allowed per the access policy of PA...so they routed me to 476 to 95 to 322 to jersey groovy...was also told I can deliver in the wee hours of the early am for both places in NY so I am going to get deliverd tomorrow morning in Jersy and make way for NYC and shut down early in the day so I can have all of the dark hours in the early am for my deliveries...what could possibly go wrong?? only everything...lol

 

Yeah, I was asleep because I had to get up at 0300 to make London, KY by 0800. But really, you should stop following me!

I'm at the Hook in Lebanon, IN with a relay bound for Gary. Then pick up and head back to KY for a Friday am delivery.

I need to vent a bit though about valve stem caps. Every trailer I pick up is missing one or a couple. I picked up a preloaded trailer today that 7 out of 8 were missing. Seriously, how the hell do you miss this on your pretrip? It's just pure laziness!!! Drivers, missing valve stem caps are a DOT Violation subject to points for both you and the company. On top of that, if you get a ######## DOT Officer, they can write you a ticket and fine you up to $250 for each one missing!

This is not rocket science guys. Check the valve stem caps when you're checking the tires. Leads me to believe that some aren't even checking the tires. Who knows what else these drivers are missing.

Okay, done ranting for now.

 

If i need caps, I just take them from the trailer next to me.

 

There was a unicorn crapping in my air tanks and poking holes in my exhaust. Took 3 days to get him out. Little bugger ate my stem caps too. Lol

I know where your coming from man. A lot of people seem like they don't care. They'll care when they get a $250x7 missing caps ticket and roehl makes them pay for it!!!
