Hello Road and excellent choice. I see you have yourself listed as "student", did you just get your CDL? If so, I can let you know what to expect. The 0.30/mi is once you're on your own and off your finisher's truck. I was told average solo miles is 2300-2500, we just did 3,003 this past week operating as a solo truck. Good luck and see you around!

danm man , tha's good miles....ur still with ur finisher or u just got ur truck>? -
you couldnt have made a better choice.....and that's coming from someone who made the wrong choice first. I started at another company, but finally came here....And I wish I would have started here..because there surely isnt a better starter company around. Good Luck!!

Of course once winter rolls around again...make sure you talk to all the experienced guys you run into for some pointers!! Even if you driven in ice and snow in a car...its a whole new ball game in an 18 wheeler (or 10 wheeler as most often is the case here). -
ohh cool.. i will check ur thread......thanks man for all the info......
WOW...4,000 miles.... thats awesome.... -
I average roughly 2800/week.the key words are roughly and average. You may have an 1800 week then a couple of 3200. I've even had a4100 before.this is due to when you're dispatched the miles not just when you run them.

when u do 2,800 mile in that week ...how much is that in ur pay check...taking home after tax.?.
i just want to get an idea..
thanks -
Here it is exactly, now I keep Cookie on the road with me which costs .01/mi. If I keep my fuel economy within company allowance (more than 6.2mpg) I get that back on the 3rd week of every month. Here is a basic check though. For obvious reasons I removed a couple of bits of personal information
