Come on now be a little realisitic.. Tandems work 99% of the time on SNI trailers? hahaha.. how much did they pay you to say that?
I drove for SNI for over 2 years and there was not one time the tandems didnt have issues.. unless it was a TA7xxxx or higher.. All the entire fleet was a big pile of shiii. 2 minutes to change tandems maybe on a TA trailer but nothing near that on any other.. hell i knew drivers that pulled shoulders out trying to pull their #### tandems..
SNI has and holds the oldest equipment in the industry and the reason for that? They buy rather than lease their equipment so they drive em till they run to the ground.
Good company to train with but dont expect much other than alot of miles.. the pay sucks.. if you like running miles and not getting paid for them then help yourself.. as far as Im concerned.. get your year in and be on your way..
You have to get your year somewhere.. might as well be SNI.

In your opinion, what would be the best way trying to nail down at least 2500 miles a week?

YOU should have been thrilled to have been in the "ORANGE ARMY"

The lever in your left hand and hammer in your right might help the situation.

I was with Schneider for 2 years and they are not Friendly, you would only see 4 5 0r 6 nice Truck Drivers other than that bad personality. I am working for UPS Truck Delivery service but in 2 weeks I am going to join US xpress truck Company.

This guy must have had the worst luck. I've had 1 trailer in 7 months that took more than 2 minutes to slide the tandems. A lot of the trailers I've been under are"A" trailers, more than 5 years old and only one made me cuss and scream.mickimause Thanks this.

Sounds like more hate and discontent about another truck company. If some of you new people would talk to real people that have been in trucking for a while. You just might find out the realities of the business before you waste your time and money getting into a job you havn't a clue about. I think you just rely on some recruiter line and take it as gospel. Hey they get paid to keep warm bodies in their trucks.
Recruiters in almost any business get paid for how much they bring in. Especially in a high turnover industry like trucking.
You wouldn't buy a car or a house without finding out all you could before signing on the dotted line. Like believing a used car salesman. Thats what a truck company recruiter is.. Ask the people that do it for a living and are sucessful at it to tell you the BAD with the good. Dont just come on here griping about how bad you got screwed, DO YOUR RESEARCH FIRST!!!
Tac-Lift Thanks this. -
