Well Bigjohn, that brings up another question, or further clarification. Can you work Texas oil fields and have an address in another State? If I leave my family behind I can have an address in another State. Then no Texas license or another Haz-mat.

Here is what I heard when I was down there, The Lic. has to be transferred and then the state you are from can extend the Haz Mat till you get it in Texas only because the Oil Fiewld regulations are different then regular truck driving, this is just what I heard nothing here is fact!!!

I responded to this guy, He is the money behind the company or something like that, He isn't going to make it, I don't think, I think with the start up and all the expense he will fold up before the first tank is filled.

On May 30th and May 31st Schneider is having a job fair in Victoria. It will be held at 2002 S. Laurent St ,Victoria, TX from 10am-5pm. Just thought I would mention it. I know some people out of CDL school in the past were told if they would tank OTR for 3 months they could transfer to a crude hauling account. I wouldn't come to the bargaining table and say you will do that right out of the gate, but if you are wanting to tank crude and you can't get a serious look, this may be a way to get recognized.

As I always tell people, tanker and hazmat endorsements and a TWIC card in hand will get you ahead of those who think they should get hired first then apply for that stuff.
