I'd suggest the Cascadia. I really like the ride, comfort and quietness of it. Been running an 09 Cascadia since Mid-March.

Sold a 2007 century.. It had a 515 DET on it but the fuel MPG sucked. 5.4.. I come out on the trade being I paid $37,200 for it and put over 150,00 miles on it and got $34,500 on trade but I'm sure took it on the other a little.HAHA! THE PETE! I 've always been a fan of a cat engine. The cat is getting in the mid 7"s which I hope will balance out the payment. Needed another truck (less miles and newer) because I job change will becoming soon. Where I don't know yet... Where Im at is okay but not enough green for me.. I'll post pic's as soon as I get it and find the time!! Thanks Bill

I've been reading on the DPF cat and it seems that a lot of people have been having trouble with it? Most of what I read was the 07's but wondering if anything has changed between the 07 thru the 09's?

There have been to many updates to count . But the basic system remains the same. I have 1 of the very first c15s it runs now but I don't trust it. The only reason I made it through it was I work local and the people I work for have 15 of them. All of them had trouble. Ask to see the warrantee work done on this truck. If they'll show it to you.
If you get that truck change the primary fuel filter every 7-10k and use a cat filter. If you use another brand they will blame that filter for your emission problems.
I have only had 2 emissions related problems in last 18 months and
thats the best it's done in 4.5 years that I've had it.
Best of luck whatever you decide to do .

My problem is I don't know a whole about when the GEN light comes on? How offtened does it come on and so on. The filter has been cleaned by kenworth. It came on today when I test drove it again. Last week it came on and I noticed it lost it's power. This will be a learning curve.

3 lights hest yellow light high exhaust temp, fan light these should both be on if your stopped and it's regening. Takes an hour sometimes a test drive might not be long enough to finish regen. Mine regens every 200 miles all day long.

If the check engine light comes on while regening you are screwed !!!
If your buying this at a cat/ kw shop make them do a regen with the lap top and look at the screen when it's done. It will say if it passed or failed the regen.

You should not notice any change in power while it's burning.
