In the prior weeks to having this procedure I had bought a huge jar of Almonds at Costco. Apparently little almond bits stayed behind in my colon, so it was enough to clog up their vacumn cleaner machine they use. So the very next day they did the procedure again. So, I took the Movie-prep two days in a row. It still was not clean enough for the doctors so they told me to wait one year to have it done again. What I don't understand is why they don't check the prostrate out while they are down there, but that is another doctor. So, two days in a row I did the Movi-Prep thing, I think I should get some kind of award for that!

 

they have improved moviprep now its a 3 oz bottle you drink half and then the other half ! 1/10th the liquid 500 % more output.

 

Ever since I started going to the VA last year they are very persistent on everyone getting their colonoscopy at age 50. I was dreading it as my sister just had it done.

Luckily my cardiologist won't let me have any surgeries or analgesia while I'm taking Effient to keep my blood from clotting. I squeaked out of that one!

 

I had a couple of nurses confused about when to give me the sedative. I can remember them discussing it, I remember the doctor coming into the room, I remember the pain and the screaming obscenity before I passed out. Guess they waited a little too long... good times good times.

 

Somebody better tell my doctor! I am staring at a litter container, plus two of those A & B packets right now. I think my doctor needs to get some modern stuff.
