Focus guys, focus. Back to the original topic.
Dispatchers get pissed at a driver and have revenge by changing his elog so that it looks like he's been driving illegally all day, or even the previous days. Has it happened to anyone else?
As far as qualcom magically changing logs, yeah, it happened plenty enough when I needed a few extra hours to make a run on time.

Last comment....ROEHL does not have a pet policy.

Last time they pulled that on me, it was for something stupid, something any reasonable dispatcher would not take personally. The switched my logs w/out a beep, or a message or nothing. Then he made a comment, asking why I never did a pretrip. I checked my logs and my pretrip was gone, and it showed I was driving for 12 hours... I was just hoping I didn't get pulled over and have a cop ask to look at my elogs. At that time, I was so pissed off that they would sink so low. I started praying for justice, and guess what? I got it. A few minutes later I got randomly pulled over and inspected. He asked to see my elogs...
My point is, dispatchers can be such pricks. They pull crap like that, and think they're gods, like they can treat us however they want to, and what can a driver do for justice? ####### grind the gears? What? -
Why would anyone drive for someone who has elogs to begin with? Why would you NOT log your hours on paper to back YOUR position and cover YOUR #####?
Just asking.... -
They don't allow pets unless your a l/o or o/o

Maybe because not all companies edit your logs....

I don't need some computer to keep my log for me. I've been successfuly logging for 39 years. I have NEVER had a log violation.
To each their own, but I won't drive for a company who doesn't trust me enough to do my own paperwork and insists on following my every move by computer.
I also refuse to drive for a company who won't allow a pet who has been riding in a truck for 12 years and has NEVER caused a problem. I can provide references and proof!
You'd think that these idiots who can't put qualified butts in the seats would figure this crap out! -
I hate E Logs. I ran with E Logs for a while and had a few glitches were it would blank out and when it came back online my HOS where no where near to what I had started in the morning. I had a few corrections done to mine because of that.

That's good, to each their own. I like e logs for the fact I don't have to add anything up. Less paperwork for me.
Its not that they don't trust you, its less paperwork in general. Easier on us, easier on office staff.
I know where your coming from, its the fact that some, not all, pets leave an odor in the truck. Someone else gets that truck, they get sick, then sue the company because their allergic to that animal. Its about liability. That's why if you want a pet, be an o/o or l/o with them.
While roehl wants good drivers, you can't please everyone dude.

Mine have done the same thing. All I did was tell Dispatch and they told me to use paper logs till it gets fixed.
