E-Logs = 0 stress and you can still run the same miles if not more...yeh I said it. I've heard of dispathers "fixin" logs but as with anything on a computer it is recorded. Like or hate it but your gonna have to accept it sooner or later.

That's what i like, pull over, tap two buttons on the screen, boom I'm in sleeper berth within 2 seconds. With e logs you'll be able to run more miles IF you log them both LEGALLY since e logs go by minutes and seconds while paper your stuck with 15 minute segments

Less paperwork? Not hardly. The logs have to be kept in a file or on computer. Same amount of work.
It takes 30 seconds to add your hours CORRECTLY.
Rhoel braggs they replace their vehicles regularly. They can ALWYS put another driver WITH A PET in that truck thus eliminating the allergy problem. Sorry, that dog don't hunt.
The man at RHOEL told me that they were tired of animals tearing trucks up. If they banned a destructive ROT from a truck, they had to ban ALL pets. I said BULL! Why do you punish all for the actions of a few? He couldn't or wouldn't answer the question. Same with DESIGN.
As a matter of FACT, elogs require MORE work for the company than paper because the computers screw stuff up so often. It takes more time to change the computer archive than it does to make a new paper log sheet. Either way, safety HAS to verify them.
RHOEL is no different than the others. They want to control your every move. I am a professional driver with over 2 million SAFE miles, NO accidents, NO tickets.
Tell me again how they want GOOD drivers???? -
Lol. Good for you. I can't comment on how roehl is different than other companies since I've only been here and no where else. Only that others have quit, then come back. I like the way they do things, they have rules, you don't like them? Then don't work here. Simple.
But there's no need to bash a company if you've never worked here. That's what I'm trying to say, just because they don't allow pets or want you on e logs doesn't mean their like every other company or that they suck.
Ethan -
Also, roehl does things that I don't like or agree with, but I love working here so i don't sweat the small stuff.
And please explain how they want to control your every move?
Ethan -
Show me where I bashed anyone. I simply stated that I won't drive for a company who doesn't trust you to have sense enough to log and won't check your pets references even if you provide them. I won't drive for a company who punishes everyone because a few guys screwed up.
Plain and simple!
Have a nice night and enjoy your life with big brother!Bob The Dinosaur Thanks this. -

And what about when you're driving, & your dispatcher gets pissed & just makes your e-log machine beep as loud as it can, non-stop. When this happened w/ qualcomm, the qualcomm mysteriously got disconnected from the satellite for hours. It was too loud to remain in the truck. It beeped non-stop at an extremely loud tone. That was b4 I wisened up enough to just unplug the ###### thing, & then plug it back in in the morning. Dispatchers have way too much power to harass w/ elogs. They can even reduce your driving speed, just to mess w/ you. Sick.

Pets references? They trying to get a job too? That's just plain over kill. If i had a fleet of trucks and pets were tearing them up, id do the same thing. The few ruined it for the rest. Happens all the time. Its life, deal with it and roll on.
Big brother? Really? What's wrong with them having GPS in the QC system. That's how my e logs log the miles, speed, where I'm at. Why would I be afraid of that? Omg their watching us!! Lol

Turn the volume down and black it out. Your dispatcher doesn't have the time to harass you...they want to put a load on you and go home.DrtyDiesel Thanks this.
