My hubby just started as an O/O for a company two months ago. The first week he got paid 1700.00 after expenses, second week -356.00, third week -1350.00, fourth week, 379.00, fifth week 279.00, week six he got in touch with a broker and got paid 3500 out of a 7800 gross pay. Now, two weeks later, the broker got fired because he didn't get enough (company) jobs for my hubby. Now the company dispatcher is telling my hubby that he has to pull only company client loads. We are back to making nothing and have 2 1/2 years of truck payments as we are leasing. What the hell is going on here? Help me please!!! We don't want to go broke and were under the impression that since we pay the fuel, overload permits, and everything else you can think of, why would the company want us to pull only their loads for less money when we were making more and they were getting paid more as well. Are they wanting to keep us down so they can take the truck back? Their website says that they want O/O and company drivers to both be successful but obviously not. What the hell is going on? Have any of you been through this and if so, what gives?

    Who are you leased with?

In your contract look for the clause that says if you're exclusive with the company or not, If not get busy and sign on with a more reputable company ASAP so you can turn it around
