here at baker city, OR. Thought about trying for Pendelton, but with 3.75 leaving Boise, and how this load pulled the first set of hills, did not want to chance it. Of course a Plus-1. pplan was by 1200, then get the load info, changed to 1015. Definately not figuring in the hills and weight and Seattle traffic in the morning. Oh well. Push comes to shove, Mac 22 in morning.

 

In lugoff SC again at that little bitty pilot with pain in the rear parking completely out of hours til midnight

 

At the Lancaster terminal trying to stay cool without idling the engine. Have nearly 45,000 lbs of bottled water in the box headed for Jackson, MS in the morning. Spent way too long getting the load "just right" since it started out over on the drives.

 

The voice in my head says it'll cool down as the night goes on. I though I was going to idle too but, the lil 12v fan will have to do.

 

Rainy Tacoma. Busted arse to get here for a LUNLD, to just drop. PU load of fireworks in the morning and take the scenic route over to Lewiston.

Sitting at the Pilot in Jackson, MS taking a 10 before I deliver at the Sam's Club just after midnight. Then I'm off to NJ with a light weight load that has one stop in VA.

 

In Fultonville, NY at the TA on the Mohawk River/Erie Canal for a 34 reset. Got a great spot with a river view. Already dispatched on a load picking up 30 miles away in Rotterdam (Schenectady), NY day after tomorrow going to the Target DC in Lugoff, SC again. Maybe third time's a charm and I'll go west from there. I am really tired of the northeast. I used up my 70 in six days with a bunch of short runs. My delivery in NJ this morning was a breeze; hardly anything like the usual insane traffic.

Ohio turnpike service plaza, exit? No idea, just pulled in after a nice lil scare tonight and called it.
was passing a few slower trucks, had the hammer down in a 70mph zone, I get passed the 3 trucks no problem and *boom* I see the lights, yup good ol Ohio state police behind me all lit up. Great, so I pull in the service plaza and he followed me in. Man this sucks I think, and what the F did I do? Soon as I make the right into the truck area, he goes left.. scared the crap out of me..

Ran 620mi today, so making NY terminal tomorrow will be cake. Ran 12500k in the box, had her pegged about ½ the way and still got 8.2mpg, love my truck she does well..
