I'm preplanned to pick up in Dublin for Lakeland. I drop empty in Beech Island along the way. Load del at 0600 tomorrow. Won't happen. I'll barely have enough hrs to make it to Kimberly Clark...

0600? Those paper loads usually have 0600-1200 del windows
-
Yep. I won't make 1200 either. I just arrived in Hope Mills with 5 driving, 7 on duty left. I'll make Kimberly Clark and be done for the night.
I like my new dm, but her lack of trucking experience hurts her. She plans loads, but doesn't include fuel stops, restroom, meals, showers, etc. She does run, run, run miles. I hope she is learning with the constant reminders from me. She said I can make it from Dublin to Lakeland in 6 hrs. I said nope, with fuel stop, 7.5 hrs max, avg about 7. I had to explain that I'll be on 55 mph highways, fuel stop needed enroute, and breathing room for traffic, weather, etc. She seems to be starting to understand. -
Got here to my delivery about 2 am and got unloaded right away (appt was at 10am) . Parked across street in empty warehouse parking lot and started my 10. Got my load info for hometime. going from Graniteville,SC to Orlando.
Miles since Sunday will be 2265. Pretty decent for a slow 5 days. -
You talk about safety. I just saw where a company across the street from you had a major fatality accident. Safety issues there I'd bet. You know anything about them?

Get her trained right and all of you will make money. At least she seems to care, the dispatchers I had at Crete sure as hell didnt.

Yea that's davis transfer. They have a few signs pointing at our building about what they can offer. The recent news on them is pretty incriminating

Previous 8 days. Was home on 5/19 and 5/20

Big time incriminating!
Dropped in Hope Mills, NC. Took empty to Beech Island and bobtailed to Dublin for load. Arrive and told load won't be ready until Monday. Now I'm bobtailing to Savannah to repower load for Kissimmee. Preplanned Tampa to Austell for Saturday delivery. If I have no snags and can get that preplan, I'll have 2996 miles for week. -
Well ###### shaggy you stomped me in miles this week
