I just got my DOT card today and in a little bit am going to the DMV to take my permit test so I can get them faxed to Alice. Wish me luck!

I got accepted at CRST, but team driving dose not sound like my thing. Ya never know what you get. I'm still going to try with Millis in July. Although this time of year is prob the best time to try cuz of all the freight that's moving. But I have to wait.

 

Ajv1987....You say you've been laid off and currently unemployed. If I were you, i'd go down to the unemployment office and check into a grant for truck driver training. There are programs out that that could get you the training without costing you a dime. Take advantage of them. You still might have to move in with your parents for awhile, but you do what you have to. Good luck.

 

Just pulled in to Bi Lo in Greenville, SC with 3 minutes left on the clock! Talk about maximizing your drive time!

 

I will try the grant, I am not sure how it works but will check and see if there is one available.

 

Smart idea, at least you have a backup while going for Millis.. I bet you would get in on Millis or at least I hope you do. I already got my applications done for CRST and Swift but am going to try Roehl which is in Wisconsin. I know it is probably tough to wait but it will be worth it.
