Call the police.
Give the company name and truck number of the driver that picked up the girl. Its "possible" that she is 18, but not very likely, if she's as young as you describe. She may well be in danger.

 

Dude, please tell us you at least wrote down the guys plate number?

 

That( call smokey) should have been done before posting anything about it here. Believe it or not she could have been a runaway, homeless. or abused in some way. definatly call smokey. if she was of age smokey can figure it out and you can do so anomusly (sp)

I don't know how to respond. Could be the driver who took her thought he was doing her a favor as she could have ended up with someone dangerous, and was in fact going to try and get her real help ... perhaps. And if he did have honorable intentions, a roadside stop 20 miles down the road may land him with a pedophile or kidnapping conviction he didn't deserve. Or, he could have had bad intentions. I suppose I'd have noted the truck number, waited and phoned it into police with direction and let them sort it out.

 

For future cases, ask her name, if she has id. If underage, alert the cops, and the TS manager. Get a good description. If she is underage, she may have been a runaway.

 

You need to make it your business, if the police have a short visit with her what would it hurt?

I just hope the OP's cowardice does not cause any harm to come to this girl. I cannot believe you would watch a young girl get in a stranger's truck and not step up and say something. C'mon man at least make a phone call. If anything would happen to her, how could you live with that?
