Same to you Skinnerz. I have some bussiness I am taking care of also and may need to move my class date to 6/11 but I'm not sure yet.Either way we will probably meet at the acadamy or the motel.

Buckeye, England is a joke. As far as the cut rate, I believe our class had something like 34 non CDl'ers to start and I think there was 10 left. Of those 10, only eight passed their road test and are still with the company. Of the 15 CDL'ers, only 8 are still with FFE. You are not guaranteed a job until you road test. Even then, you are on probation for 90 days. I just hit my fifth week solo.

does the company provide a "shuttle" to and from the hotel or is is up to the students to take public transportation ? just wondering...

Well its been another hell of a week.
Stood a good chance of getting my licence suspended between Friday and Tuesday...
I had to skip going down last week, because about 20 hours before I was to leave for Texas, on Friday, I got into an accident with my mothers vehicle.
Now, here's the situation;
Sitting in a four lane intersection, realize I'm in the wrong turning lane, there is litteraly no traffic around me. Little did I know some idiot on a crotch rocket is sitting on his motorcycle COMPLETELY IN MY BLIND SPOT.
So I throw the vehicle in reverse (bear in mind I never do something like this, I didn't really have the option to just go the wrong way and turn around, since the next legal u turn was well over 10 miles away) and start backing.
No horn, no attempt to move, #### he could've yelled and I would've heard him- nothing to stop me from hitting him at a whole 3 effing miles an hour!
So anyhow my mothers insurance was giving us a bunch of #### about my being an excluisonary driver on the policy, but didn't find the papers that could prove that before my court date on Tuesday.
So for all intensive purposes I'm in the clear with the suspension.
But since they finnaly found the paper work (spat I believe I told you about this) they do not have to cover the damages.
Luckily the guy I hit has state farm, which is by a wide margin, much kinder that my mothers insurance company (progressive.)
And he's got uninsured motorist protection and neither company reports to the BMV on uninsured drivers,
So for the next year and a half ill be making $200/month payments to state farm...all over a subway sandwich...the only reason I went into that plaza and then hit that guy.Last edited: May 25, 2012

newberry sorry to hear that you might have to push it back to 611 we are still on for the 4th -- another week --- still have a few loose ends to take care off -- 9 weeks out and its hard to get everything in order --- internet and cell phones make it a lot easier to take care of buisness -- last time i drove everything was done on pay phones --- yea bluegrass i checked in to england but i think ffe is a lot better -- they have nice trucks and then it goes downhill after that -- well we dont have a washout plan if we get cut -- so i am planning on passing -- hopefully attitude is 80% of what they are looking for lol-- we have that -- somewhat worried still but its passing --well if she dont get through it i am still going out solo and we can think of a plan b -- if i get cut she isnt going to do it solo then plan b -- she has only driven a frito delivery step van so she is starting from scratch -- which may be ok cause she hasnt developed bad habits -- well i hope they are running you better now and starting to learn the ropes in the company -- theres a few other threads where some of the older drivers post on and they seem to be doing ok so i hope things start going your way a little
