You can request whatever you want. You get what they give you.

The lease trucks are older trucks. You don't get to pick those either.

Of course any of the above can change at any time.

More or less. Our first truck was a 2012 with 50,000 miles. This one is a 2011 that had around 170,000 I think.

I was under the impression that bigdipper wants to run solo. When I started as a solo I got a 2012 Pete with 15 miles on the odometer. Not everybody got brand new trucks though.

 

You're right, I do want solo! But you gotta admit, don't hurt to axe!

theyre offering sign-up bonuses in many cases......it's a "drivers"
Market!

 

My first truck was a 2007 Freightliner with over 500,000 miles on it.....and I got the truck in 2010.....Had no problems with it for about 6 months and then it was just little things. They took it when I became a trainer and put me in a 2012 10sp with 350 miles on it......which ended up in the shop several times over the 10 months I had it.
