Would you stop looking/researching and just go?
They are 1000 miles away from me and it is going to be cold for December training.
Schneider is only 2 hours away but I have bad feelings about them.
Would you go with Roehl if you had the chance?

Dennis I'm in a similar situation as you and I too am trying to make up my mind. Of the two I think Roehl is the better option, no personal experience just from what I've read here and elsewhere...I just get a better vibe from them vs schneider. Let us know which way you go when you make up your mind, I'd like to hear about your experiences with either. Sorry I cant be more help.

Hey Dennis .... go with your gut feeling :yes2557: I'm starting Watkins Shepard training at the end of November. It's 900 miles away from my home . But I'm looking for some good mountain and winter training that I can't get here in Sacramento.:biggrin_25513: Go with the GUT and good luck

Id go. Problem is they wouldnt take me cuz they didnt have enough freight to get me home. they wanted me to slipseat my truck in Gary, indiana then me drive my personal vehicle back and fourth from Detroit. No thanks.

I never got back with them. I cant really blame them, They were willing to work with me. That would have been 8 hrs out of my hometime. I just couldnt do it.

As a side note, all the Rohel drivers I spoke to seemed happy there.

According to google maps I am approx. 1000 miles from Marshfield, WI.
    I am in SE PA.
They have national and regional routes through here.
I am going to Daytona next week. 1000 miles away also. If I can handle 500 miles a day then I think I will take the jump.
Wish I could get a ride in an 18 wheeler also to acquaint myself with that.
Have not found someone to help me out there just yet.

Hey Dennis check out Gainey (GTS) they have a terminal in Hanover Pa and take student drivers from what I hear. They have a pretty good reputation over all.
