Who's your DM. Charlie?? Keep calling her till you reach her. Explain the situation, and if it's not handled you two will start looking elsewhere.

Thanks Olde Goat, I appreciate your answer, but yes, it is Charli. I've left her messages in the past and talked with her on concerns, but she uses the duck and hide with us if we ever have a concern. Right now, we're just trying to let it bury itself and check out our other options. We own our truck so we can go wherever without a big financial hit, only up until this year the miles were consistent.
Today another repower saga. We refuse as politely as possible and they won't take no for an answer. We need to roll and quit spending entire days at docks getting loaded and unloaded. -
Glenn was my first dm i fired him after he told me he was my boss i hung upon him lol went to the yard keith got me a new dm been happpy going on a year now
Jarhed1964 Thanks this. -
To be honest with you, thats where we made our most money rescuing loads, quick drop and hook and rollin again

Well, I got my truck back yesterday...everything is back to normal. On a quick run into FL...a 4 dropper that will end me in Ft Lauderdale on Wed. I imagine it will be flowers to the NW from there...maybe OJ. We'll see.

Daytona, I've been here almost 3 years (anniversary in July) and still love it. The biggest thing I think most people forget is that this is a business. You have to treat it as such. Do all businesses in this country profit each and every weeK? No. You have to look at the big picture. If you bring home $200, $1300, $700, $1500 for a month, that's an average of $925. Does that sound so bad? The point I'm trying to make is that it can be done!! Everyone has different financial needs. The person with a mortgage, 2 car payments, child support/alimony, and 13 credit cards might not make it. Figure out what your personal fixed monthly expenses are, then decide from there. It's not for everyone that's for sure, but it is definitely for me! Good luck to you. Hope that helps a bit.scottied67 Thanks this.

I have to agree with Alan. The fact that JCT does pay a lot of the "little" things does matter. Not having to file the fuel taxes for example is a biggie. They pay for everything associated with the load: lumpers, tolls, scales, washouts, etc. The only thing we need to pay is fuel and maintenance.scottied67 Thanks this.

Nah, but very happy for you. I take too much time off myself. I average 6-7 days off a month last year and only grossed 167,000. LOL
scottied67 Thanks this. -
I'm sure you're aware that they changed the mileage requirements?

AMEN!!! But that's planning on everyone's part......planner and driver.
