Anyone know when that eastbound scale on 40 is opening? I noticed they placed a stack of K rails in the grass by the eastbound scale near Oklahoma City this week so I'm guessing it won't be too long.

OK is slow from what I've been told. I figured those scales would be open by now. They put in new scale house and scales on both sides of I-40 last oct-nov of last year.DirtyBob Thanks this.

I figured they would too. I'm guessing those K rails are to permanently block off the scale near Oklahoma City once it's open but who knows. Hopefully they don't block off the ramp, it's usually where I stop to do a tire check heading both ways if they're closed.

So are they opened yet?
-
Not yet they built the ramps it will be open soon for your connivence

Went by the I-35 SB scale Tuesday, yep, it's open now. Seen trucks driving in.
-
Yesh. The east bound 4 0 still a ways out from opening. They dont even have a scsle installed yet
-
Just noticed the hole in there yesterday.

Southbound Leduc Ab has all the same gear, including before you hit the off ramp a camera to see if you've got your seat belt on.

I went by the SB 35 scale on Monday and it was closed, but Tuesday as I was heading north it was open and the ramp was full of trucks.
