Good night from...

Whelp I let my 1555mi pplan rot up in New York. Then I was sent a 125mi deadhead to p/u and a 698mi loaded delivery, oi'vey, csr/planners. /grr
so I went and took a shower and got another load an hour later. 2000mi run, p/u in Syracuse yard and take it down to a broker in Laredo I snagged it.
stopped at Columbus terminal lastnight for fuel, just as the new fuel prices dropped. 10c, nice..
parked at the T/A here in Arkansas just over the river tonight..

 

Third time delivering to the Target DC in Lugoff, SC was a charm after all. I'm at the Pilot, I-95, exit 170 a few miles north of Florence where I pick up a mile away in the morning going to Terrell, TX. Happy to finally be going back west although going I-20 through Alabama and Mississippi won't be fun with almost all of it construction and really rough riding. Traffic yesterday and today was pretty thick with the Memorial Day holiday weekend coming up. Going through Charlotte, NC with the big NASCAR race weekend underway was Jack the Bear.

The load I'm on has a dispatched pick-up time of 13:00 - 13:00 tomorrow which would have meant running until after midnight and then running another long day to deliver at 20:00 on Sunday. I called Johnson Controls and my load is ready now and I can pick up anytime after 06:00. When I asked what the pu window was I was told firm appointment at 13:00.

At the J outside of Lima Ohio waiting to pickup at P&G cause I screwed up and accepted a pplan that I thought picked up today but oh no picks up tomorrow at noon. That's OK I need a break I have run 8900 miles in three weeks so need a break

 

Still at Lewiston, but at least a load to pu in morning. A nice 18K load heading to Vegas for Sunday. Probably will not load out again until Monday morning, so am going to have to show the little Mrs. how to play the slots. Not sure how she will react after sitting 2 days. We will see. Not looking forward to the weekend traffice on the 2 lane most of the way.

I have a stalker ... lol. Drop in Vegas tomorrow. Was offered p/u Sunday, but won't deliver until Thursday ... that ain't gonna play.

Love waking up late night to see the truck stop packed wall to wall where it takes 7hrs just to wiggle out. Next time im parking on the interstate, lol
nice thing, I shouldn't hit traffic along the I40 out of Memphis towards little rock in that looooong construction zone.

 

Here in Idaho Falls. Had some laundry to take care, walked inside and one washer and dryer was for some reason free. What luck. So far the traffic on 95 here was very light. Lets see what happens in the morning.

 

I will be dropping on Sunday, and DM knows that there nothing short and needs to deliver on Wed. Since I messed up getting fuel on Weds last week b4 actually disp, will still see a decent check with 1200 miles, but that is not going to fly.

Mystic, not acutally stalking, just following, but not close. After you left yesterday, I was sent another gr8 pplan, actually wanted me to drag a mt trailer up the road 70 miles and then spot it and b/t back. Like that was going to work. Ron caught it b4 I had a chance to ask about it.
