Ask my old trainer thinks they are for miller in tx and nc. I know they brought up the 48 foot tx trailers out of tx so makes some sense i guess

Yes, we have them at Miller in Eden, I've never pulled one or honestly seen one being pulled?

the day cabs pull them, the spread axle 45-48 footers

I think they are pulling the TX trailers out because our TX fleet is expanding so they will probably be replacing them with 53 ft trailers. I wish they'd give us 48 ft spread axles on regional. I wouldn't have to scale beer loads because you can put 40,000 lbs on the trailer tandems.

I am about to start CDL training. I have a couple of questions for you Millis guys/gals out there. I have been doing a lot of research on companies to start with as I'm sure most students do. Millis is one of the companies I am taking a serious look at. First of all, do you have to attend one of the Millis training schools to be hired straight of of school? Second, I live in the Nashville, TN area. Are there other Millis drivers from my area that could inform me on how much Millis runs through this area? Just wondering about potential home time in the future. I understand that to make any money you have to be willing to stay out as long as possible. But I also know that if you live near a company's major lanes, you have a better chance to have some decent home time. Thanks.

Youre in a good area as we run through Nashville a lot. Check out my thread "My Millis Experience" and should answer all your questions. If not just ask and we will be glad to help.

Oh sorry - yes you have too go to a Millis school unless you have 6 months (recent) exp.
