Well the grass is always greener! Most drivers would have killed for that job and you were very, very lucky to land it! I guess on the bright side you won't have to worry about getting that lucky twice in a row! I doubt you will find another local job that pays as well as that one did.

    yeah...

Better to have found something FIRST. THEN resigned.

I can relate. But I won't be a quittin till something better is guaranteed.

Choose Con-way Freight and you won't break your back like your other job. And the money is here for you to earn.

    Dodgeman,

R+L Carriers is right in your town. Check with them. Not the best company, but OK for the time being.

If you want to see your family, stay away from places like Swift or other long haul places that will never get you home! Try YRC or ABF for your best future.

A Duie Pyle(not sure if spelling is right) is a big LTL carrier in the North East. Not sure if they have a terminal close to you though.

Check out ups freight I got hired there and it was my first driving job I've been there about a month and have been working about 50 to 55 hours a week it's a great job the pay starting off is slightly low at around 15 an hour compared to other ltl starting wages but in a few years it goes to 25 something it's pretty sweet just walk in and talk to the TM he can't do any more than say no good luck in your search brother
