Well duh! What's the big deal? Ye olde waitin' time in reefer is called a pleasant change of pace, because when the chickens are good n' dead, we run the heck outta it!

Subway is an evil empire. I refuse to ever eat there again.

Looks like I'll be joining the Prime fleet as a student in their CDL training program. I'm all set up to start on June 12th, still debating on whether or not I want to run reefer or flatbed though. Any pro's or con's for either? Thanks
-
Looks like I'll be joining the Prime family. Coming in on June 25th in the CDL training program. Can anyone tell me anything about the tanker division, havent heard too much about it. Thanks
-
Welcome to both yall!! I did reefer for PSD n TNT. It was too boring for me. Some love it, I dont. If you dont mind being dirty, physical labor, bein outside etc... Then flatbed might work for you. If you have something against any of the three... Wont work for you.
Tanker runs mainly in the NE, but did talk to one guy who said it was all 48. Met him in Arkansas one time. They might be expanding the division, but I dont know. Prime Tanker only does food grade products. New trailers are supposed to be spread axle, have fun with that. -
I don't mind physical labor, being dirty, or being outside one bit. I'm leaving a job where I was doing roadside tire service on tractor trailers. And none of the reasons for leaving had to do with the working conditions.

Thanks for the welcome and info. Fb is the way i want to go, but haven't heard much about the tankers so i was just curious.

We dont have any Prime tanker yankers on here. Til i went flatbed we didnt have any regular posters that were flatbed. Tankers hsve to worry about the surge. Its not fun.

Had and ex prime driver ride with me for a thousand miles, taking him to pick up a truck. All he did was talk about how they nickled and dimed him to death on his lease. They and englind are about the same from all I have heard.

Just a question. How fast do you guys run nowadays? I blow by some of you like you're in reverse. Not picking at ya, just wondering.
