It's not so bad.
If you hang around the 60-62 area then you have to deal with alot of knuckleheads. run slower than them and it's kinda nice.
It isn't that much slower unless you run 70+

Hey, if it works for some then more power to them. There's no way I'd do a lease. I know too much about it. But hey, it is what it is. I just couldn't imagine shelling out money like that and never being able to own the thing.
-
Untile someone rear ends you, it should be illegal for anyone to run 10 miles per hour below the speed limit. If you cannot run within 5 miles per hour of the highway speed limit get off the interstate. You are a rolling amish driver.
-
I believe most interstate highways do have a minimum speed that you can legally travel. But I've yet to see one on any rural truck routes
-
It can cause alot of problems for people that don't look more than a car length past their hood.azcardnlz Thanks this.

It is not that guy I worry about it is the thirty or forty behind him dodging in and out trying to pass.
azcardnlz Thanks this. -
True.
At least it won't take them 5 miles to pass. -
1. It's a straight lease - there is no purchase contract.
2. The tractor is under warranty - there is no maintenance contract.
Your "buddy" was either lying to you, or more probably he signed a pile of papers without reading them - so he had absolutely no clue what he was getting into or what he was paying for or not paying for.
Maybe you ought get a clue before you come onto our threads and start throwing bovine excrement around - and pretending you know something about what goes on here. -
I do believe you are the one throwing the bovine. Leasing a truck with no buy out is dumber than working for prime to start with.

I am sorry. I had to look at the category of this thread to double check I was in the right place. Yep...the category is Discuss your favorite trucking company here>Prime Inc. driver thread. If Prime is not your favorite trucking company and/or you are not a Prime driver why are you posting here? You obviously don't respect Prime or the people posting on this thread but you can at least respect the fact that your negative opinions don't belong here. If you go to a Prime thread that is listed under "Bad Companies" you will at least find other people that will agree with you.azcardnlz Thanks this.
