Ahh yeah I do drive a scania, owned quite a few too! I currently drive an r620 heavy haul twin screw rated for 330,000lbs, and yeah they are very comfy, two reasons for this, front springs are longer and cabs are 4 point suspension so the cabs floats above the chassis, cab comfort is on a par with a mercedes or BMW car, better than your convenionals but it's not natural , they've had to overcome short wheelbase problems by engineering their way out of it, I would love a conventional with 4 point suspension, would be like a limo to ride in

Oh there's no heat from the engine now, also with double glazed window and how well they are insulated you can't hear the engine on motorway cruise, they are really well made now days

ah yes, but if they were to ever be imported here to the states, they will have to meet EPA standards, and crash standards too i do believe.

I think the biggest contributing factor to the demise of the COE in North America is the Aerodynamics factor. It's like a brik wall trying to push through the air.

I love seeing the old ones still running as in my opinion nothing says Trucker quite like a big old Cabover. That said, I do not want to drive one again. We had some International CO4070A TranStars when i was in the Army, not the most comfortable ride in the world. I do love some of the European ones. I watch some of the Youtube videos. I drove in Germany and the Benelux countries in the 80's so it is very cool to see a lot of the scenery again.

    Scanias are very nice trucks!

They will, a 730 hp is beyond EPA 2010, also aerodynamics a modern Coe is more aerodynamic than a conventional , the reason is a modern aerodynamic coe cab breaks the air once, a hood twice, a hood causes turbulence that slams into your windscreen , turbulence causes drag, drag kills fuel effeincy, in the old days coes were bricks just not anymore
