Just looking at it I see no reason why it should not work just fine .....
DUMB QUESTION .....
Why do you need a antenna rated at 30K watts
Only asking ....
Ragged Rooster and Heart of Dixie Thank this. -
Most coils seem to work best when it's close to or above the roof.
Heart of Dixie Thanks this. -
WA4GCH - New radio and antenna was a gift from my wife. She bought it online for my birthday. I have a brand new, 5', K-40 fiberglass, too which I had just purchased.
WA4GCH Thanks this. -
Big m,
I kind of thought so. Been running cb's since I started driving OTR back in 1974, but never really had any good equipment. I did some research after she gave it to me and the subject about location of the coil came up several times. The top of the coil on this is about eight or nine inches below the roof line. -
NICE she is a keeper

My wife of over 30 years is also a HAM ( General class ) so buying radios
is not a problem here ... She spoted this 2/440 HT ....and wanted it for me ..... YET it seems to fit real nice in her purse

With a T-600 you would want to use an 81 inch mid or top load 1/4 wave antenna for best results. Monkey Made never made an 81 inch antenna of any kind. Here is an antenna specifically designed for your truck.
Heart of Dixie Thanks this. -
I need to figure something out myself, will be switching to a T600 here soon, think I'll run my cobra 148gtl and my little kicker in it.

When my brother in law was driving a T6, the skipshooter and firestik 5' ers tuned and worked best on his.
