Got a new Intl ProStar on the 4th. Have just under 7000 on it now (in dealer twice, and am off weekends). Had 381 when I picked it up. It's got so much power that it feels like I am being pushed in to the seat. :biggrin_25512:

Seriously though, nice quiet truck. Lot more room and storage than the 07 FL I had. Battery pack is nice, quiet AC! Wish I had the inverter though. Engine doesn't come on until morning usually and I sometimes have to turn the AC off because it's to cold! Decent MPG, running 7.5 on average. I like the that the radios (two of them) have weather bands.

Don't care for the super singles though. A couple of times I had to lock the drives to hook and drop, even on pavement! Must be hell in the winter. The steps are a little high for this short dude.. Hub seal on the drives went out twice, having issues with the WingMan sensor, high range shifting and a host of other problems. Slated to go back in to the dealer and get a loaner next week.

Sorry your having problems bro. I got a '13 prostar with 23k miles. Only problem I get is the TPMS acts up. Keeps saying my driver side rear drive tire is low on air when its not.

The power is pretty sick. Even pulling this 30k lbs coil, I hardly have to downshift.

i had that problem. solved it on my truck with a hand pressure gauge and four layers of duct tape over the gauge.

Yeah I do haha. I just got lucky. Although the auto start is killing my fuel haha

I try. It idles at 1,000rpm so its eating more fuel. But the upside is it idles for an hour and the batteries last about 8 hours then it starts up again. So at least its not idling all day

You know why it idles at 1,000rpms right? I asked maint this questions when I had my 9400i and I had to idle for A/C.

Well I know any less and the engine isn't operating at top efficiency. Its the auto start that makes it idle high. Also it keeps the EGT's high for the dpf. It goes down to 500 rpm for a minute before it shuts down to let the Turbo oil cool.

Well maint didn't say all that......... hahahahahaha.. Either that or they most likely dumbd it down for me which makes my life easier.

Word for word what they said "It saves the engine. When it idles low carbon builds up in the engine, idling higher prevents that and saves the engine." My response to them "Well a engine doesn't cost that much..." (jokingly).

I wont type what maints response to that was.
