Millis chat room

So it says the Holiday Inn is where we will be staying. I thought it was within walking distance to the Training Facility. Its says on the directions to the hotel that it's off exit 293, but Millis is off 296. Is that right? I don't remember seeing a Holiday Inn when I drove through on Sunday.

 

i dont think any of them are within walking distance. They have a shuttle van to take you back and forth.

and the idle bonus is now called fuel bonus i think.

 

The hotel is one exit south of the yard. They will give you the van to go back and forth with. Dollar drafts in the bar during happy hour!

 

Does Millis allow you to go have a drink or two at a bar while your staying in the hotel for training? I am not talking about getting fall down drunk but maybe go out with your friends from class a few times for some drinks?

 

Nobody's gonna bust your balls for having a beer.....or 10 (there are no school marms). You'll find that after the first day or two, your thirst will diminish somewhat as the need / want for sleep overtakes your desire for beer.

Don't you get sundays off?

 

I don't understand what the question has to do with the response, but, yes, Saturday and Sunday. Plus, you probably won't be there much after 3 or 4 on Friday.

 

because if you have all weekend off then that could be the days to hang out with people from class or whatever and grab a beer or 10. You mentioned that your need or want for sleep would diminish your want for beer.
