Good, but I would wait until your on your own for a month or three before I would love any company too much.....have fun in training. Keep your eyes open.

Want to say the deposit was $500.00 for pets, but it's not something I paid that much attention to. I know you didn't need to put any of it up front when I started at least. Not sure if that has changed.
bacon.fearless Thanks this. -
Where'd you guys disappear to?
-
it hasn't and thanks for the info

I'm still here.. still enjoying it.. wish I could have a bit more home time.. but that's life in the trucking industry I guess.
My trainer says I'm doing better than his avg. trainee so he is pushing to get me in my own truck a month early. w00t!

I lucked out and got an awesome trainer too, Duck you should have gotten my guy.. all we run is Cedar City, Vegas, SoCal and the occasional Norcal run. Since he lives just off of I-15 in Cali. I'm always spending the night at the Hesperia Pilot while he gets in some quality home time..
and since I live just 30min from the SLC Terminal I get to sleep at home at least once a week so far.. *knock on plastic cascadia dash*
I wanna go back east a few times, maybe up to Idaho and down to Tx.. just so I know what's what. I've got the Ut>Nv.>Ca. stuff memorized.. I could drive it in my sleep and sometimes I do!
jk
My trainer is an italian chef.. and I just eat poptarts and hamburgers... He is a devout christian.. and I'm an atheist. We are quite the odd couple.. but we agreed to just have friendly "discussions/debates" and not get upset about either persons outlook.

At least you have the Outpost to eat at the Pilot. Great food and fairly priced. I eat there a lot during home time, my wife always makes fun of me for it. Good to hear it's going well and that you may get your own truck early.
We had a pretty good month. Had six extra days off compared to normal, not necessarily home time, but days we'd normally work. Still got 25,000 miles. Even got to spend a 34 in Indiana to visit my parents and friends over the holiday. This dedicated wears you out quick so it's nice to get some extra time to sleep and watch movies even if it's not at home. -
hello people...do any of you know the eastcoast hiring???
-
They supposedly do, I've never known anyone out from out there personally. When they used to have a hiring map they were very small hiring areas anywhere that wasn't west. Generally, the hiring areas were close to Costco DCs out east.
