I tried to get unloaded early so I could get the trip scanned in before the 1600cst deadline for payroll this week, but receiving doesn't start until midnight. SO I'm screwed. This next paycheck won't be ##### cause I just filled up on fuel. Ahh the joy's of leasing.

 

Ya I made it... Got it fixed, according to DD. Well see tomorrow. So much for my 4652 mile week Back at the Flying J in Davenport Ia

 

Finally got a load, NANA's for walmart, Pick up in NJ in the morning then off to Henderson NC. Spending the night at the Petro in Bordentown NJ

 

Petro in Casa Grande AZ, 330 miles to 90. 102 degrees outside.

 

Just past Sayre OK on I40. Fred is driving (not his real name). Should wake up in Albuquerque later.....

 

Gotta play the long game - not worry about the next settlement. That's not how ya win the leasing game - never pass up cheap fuel. Now for the good news... that fuel bill won't go in until next week if its on your current trip.

At the PEElot in Milford CT... watchin' the show. I got my space! Did extra git out's n' looky-see's - that's good, but PO'd everyone waiting to go try one of the blind-sides. Did extra pull-ups for effect... and to give the Prime guy on my left some more room...



...not that if they'd got down there to the fuel island any sooner it would have done any good!

Home or a week or so thank God. We just had the best month we ever had revenue wise though. Had to put in a few miles to do it though, boy I aint used to that.

 

Call your FM and ask them to try to get it on the last payroll all they need is the confirmation # off the scan sheets ours has done it for us a couple of timez.

 

Spent the night at the Edgerton Travel Plaza of 39 s feels like i found a secret or something huge parking lot, tons of parking at 9pm and it has a nice store and restraunt. picking up today at 01 then headed for the yard to get the truck fixed and hometime.
