Okay so I am an ex owner operator trying somthing new. I bought a new 2012 ford f350 crew cab lariat with all the bells and whistles to haul boats for a family member who owns a boat transport buisness. Its been awsome so far running up the east coast out of Miami. Pay is good too!!! Better then My 53" reefer and I am getting double the mpg's. So here my problem. I am pulling a 27ft boat about 9,000 lbs from Miami to Seattle next week for very good money. Enough to come back empty and still make a killing. I've never driven the west coast what will be the best route? The trailer dose not have brakes. It's being delivered trailer and boat, then just drive back. Any advise will be greatly appreciated . Thanks.
New to this type of work. Need help!

Good point there..
Know some have never gone more tha half a day from the house, so route planning was never needed -
Pulling a 9000lb. boat with no trailer brakes from 1 corner of the country to the other. The only advice he needs is DONT. Forget about what route to take.
Motownfire Thanks this. -
This may be useful http://truckmiles.com/ .
I thought all Ford Super Dutys came wired with trailer brakes -
Motownfire Thanks this.

IF you have all the bells and whistles then you also have a pretty ####### nav system in that truck. Mines does. But without trailer brakes, it doesn't matter since you shouldn't go over 35 lol
Rick_C and Motownfire Thank this. -
Best advice - put the boat and trailer on a stepdeck and strap it down . Then you could get a load back also .
Projektf350 and Motownfire Thank this.
