I watched the video this morning.....Anne, you've got things looking really nice in there and, for once, I didn't see anything that I wanted to change about my truck....LOL

That is the way it should be. The only thing I wish we could do is build shelves on our upper bunk. Bins and shelves and a place for the fridge. But I'll probably figure out something else soon LOL.

sorry to hear you are still waiting on that a/c part. sitting in the motel, doing protreads before we head out on monday, or maybe tuesday for me. i am thinking i know how you didn't get hit with that boo boo in california. I paid close attention during the safety class and asked several questions, and it seems like banking good roadside inspections can help cover later booboo's. :) I paid very close attention to that part.

Linda and I agree with you and Anne. USX seems like a pretty good outfit. The horror stories that we have heard from other drivers in orientation make USX look really good. I have heard from many drivers the same stories. There was even a company that we originally were looking at in Dallas, you know they have great shiny new Kenworths and talk about running refers. We were really close, but kept talking to others, reading blogs, talking to actual former drivers, and man were we glad we decided to pass on them and go with USX.

Orientation Friday went pretty well for us. Some drivers were still trying to clear up issues from the class before us. We were actually out of the building by 4pm and back at the motel. By 2pm we both had talked to our Training Coordinators and I had spoken with my Driver Trainer. Linda had the most incredible news, couldn't believe it.

Linda is getting a female trainer, who is being routed to pick her up Monday!!!!!!!!! can't believe it. So she will actually hit the road a day before I do? Go figure. :)

So thanks Craig and Anne, hope people listen to your advice as they make important career and life decisions. :biggrin_2557:
