All I can say is they have made me regret getting my CDL. With the experience Ive had and continue to have I wish I would have done anything than this job. I could have made more money and met nicer less corrput people at Mcdonalds! I am a new driver less than 1 year! given them 100,000 miles so far. and been paid for less than 80,000.00 wich is theft by any means. either $2000.00 or 160 hours or more. thats only the tip of the crap with this company! I know drivers here and the only happy ones are the one who dont mind being black balled! from abusive trainers to corrupted opperations you can count on being screwed no matter what you do. at somepoint after I find either local work or a better profession... Im gonna post every single piece of paper evidence Ive got! from logs to pictures. from letters to emails! dont be fooled! this is not a driver friendly company, they dont know its the drivers who keep then in business. And I forgot to mention that as a company who trains teams... they break the law daily. there is always gonna be someone sleeping in the top bunk of a covenant team trainer truck. and cascadia trucks dont have safety belt on the top bunk. so if you thinking to go to ANY company to team train. Dont do it!

Just as an aside, I was picking up a load the other day, and was looking at a magazine from 2007 (yup...they don't change 'em out much...). Anyway, there was a little blurb in the magazine about how Covenant had agreed to no longer require new hires to sign a paper stating that they would not file for workers compensation in the event of an injury on the job. I don't remember hearing about this, but knowing the way Covenant does business, it didn't surprise me. .Simplemind Thanks this. -

48Packard and Simplemind Thank this. -
20 per cent mileage shortage does seem excessive even if they use HMG miles. Stick the year if you can and leave. If you keep a clean MVR and DAC you will have little trouble finding a better home than Covenant. Be careful on how you terminate so they cannot load crap on your DAC.

Do you have documentation to substantiate that you drove 100k plus miles and were compensated for 80k miles? I am waiting with anticipation for you to post every bit of evidence you have.
Rocks Thanks this.
