Rider policy

The company I work for is 90% LTL & 10% dedicated. I happen to work on the dedicated end of things driving a 70" walk-in condo with two bunks driving solo yet my company won't allow riders. I normally wouldn't ask this but am having a brain fart on how to word a letter to safety appealing to them in allowing a rider. I've got two older children who've traveled with me at another company and now have a 12 yr who wants to ride. Any suggestions? Thanks!

 

Sorry, but in all likelihood it's your company's insurance company that prohibits riders. If so, you can write the Great American Novel and still be told, no. I would call your safety department and talk to someone because there's a 50/50 chance if you ask and a fat zero if you don't.
