I very seldom park-up at Truck stops anymore. To busy, to crowded, can usually find a nice little hide away somewhere close to them.

 

Almost only counts in Horseshoes and hand grenades! lol

Headed to Laredo TX from CA. I10 is nice, but QC has us going US285 to US90, 2 lane roads that take us near the mexico border. Thinking about taking I10 to I35 and eating the 100 miles.... Any opinions? Not sure I wanna hit US90 at 0200 on a saturday night.

Gotta be in VA this next weekend for a wedding. Also figure out what to do with my housewares. My best friend is moving to Germany for three years. He's a civillian Army employee. Gonna be working across base from my brother. Looks like I'm gonna make another trip.. I can't stand the thought of how much fun they will be having without me.. Just got to figure out when.

The thought has crossed my mind of moving there till my money runs out... How long can you stretch $40k?

Take the two-lanes. Safety wants us off of I10 because of the 80mph speed limit.

The General is back out on the road (has been for a few days) ran from FL to Wa and now on to WI.......and sad to say, nothing has changed!
