Lee to Norcross and Atlanta. Preplan Oakwood to Lake Park. Then bobtail to Jax for trailer. Tried to plan me Jax to St Louis, but it won't work with hrs so they took that one back off. I can't make St Louis Wed morning with a Lake Park live unload Tues afternoon. I've been told I can appear to do miracles, but I can't do that one.
jlind Thanks this. -
Got accepted at link America. Looking forward to the new job. I read about all the changes, I hope it's all for the better.

Brent, are you set for orientation?
Lost my preplans. Got held up at final stop until my hrs were burned up. Now I grab a relay in Conyers yard and take it to Darlington, SC for 0700. I won't grab it until about 2330 or so. So another overnight run for me of about 300 miles. -
Shaggy76, yea I'm attending orientation on july 2nd. My wife got a job transfer to Pensacola and we're moving the last week of June so I opted to start on July 2nd. I've been running the northeast and Midwest for the last few years so I'm kinda happy to run the south. I've been following this post for a few weeks, seems like all the changes maybe a good thing, but I'm sure as you know all companies have their good and bad. Just gotta go with the flow and keep on truckin.

Supposed to pick up in Covington, GA going to Lakeland. Abouy 700 total miles. Problem is I just acquired a major leak on egr cooler. Stopping at a shop in Columbia, SC to have it repaired. They said they will take me when I get in. Question is if they can fix today or not. 6 hr job, plus cool down to replace entire cooler, but getting the part might be the challenge based on my experience changing them out. Wishing myself luck.

Anj, you have a Cummins, right? Learned a spot that really needs to be checked out on all pretrips on these engines. Right side of engine, behind turbo is the egr cooler. There is a clamp and small hose that goes from turbo to cooler. Those clamps break all the time causing boost loss, exhaust leaks, etc... Problem is they can go unnoticed for months, but DOT knows to look there. You can grab it with your hand at clamp and if broken, you will gey soot on your hand. This one has had to have been leaking for months and previous driver never said anything. They said here at Cummins, it's been a problem on every Cummins engine since 2006. It's a design flaw. They usually don't last more than 50,000 miles before the clamp breaks again. Takes about an hour to change out if broken. Something else to keep an eye on with these new engines. Problem is, you can't see it. You can only feel it.

OK..Finally got my baby back. They d/h me home, pulled into Love's xt 44 on I-4, my so-called brand new PN went out on me. It just went flatlined. So now I'm sure their gonna bring me back into Lakeland to get that fixed. The took my baby to get an ailgnment cuz it was pulling to the right now it's pulling to the left...Go figure that one out..While I was at LKLD yard two O/O's quit. They going over to Landstar. I ask Josh about Lease purchase program cuz I really want to own my own rig.He said a lot of drivers are asking him about it but corporate gotta decide cuz he thinks it's a great idea. This company driver ish is getting old.
