Well, you understand that a new Mack is a Volvo, and you also understand the thread is new Mack or 04 Pete, then you should understand the relevance of why Pablo was posting, right? Because the question has changed to: new Volvo or 04 Pete? So, the thread is actually about Volvos.
I guess my point is, everybody is weird.

It's sorta like everyone tells Bruce in the CB forums. He knows way more than any of us, but starts talking about things that the rest of the guys in the thread can't really follow as well. Lol. It's not a doubt of knowledge, it's just a concept of keeping it simpler.

Well, I guess ill toss my two cents in here...I agree with most of the above. Boss had a Mack back in 08 before his son rolled it over coming down the grapevine. Laid it down on its driver side with a flatbed and come crushed carbodies. Buddy walked out of the truck with a bloody scratch on his finger, that was it. Used to drive em for autozone though, the 03 mac visions, they were the best trucks that fleet had, but then again, it was a fleet of volvos and macks. volvos were the biggest piece of junk i have ever driven. Never had the pleasure of a Pete though.

More quations about Pete. What engine, tranny? Really I'd choose '04 truck to avoid SCR/DPF issues. If you have to tow to Cali, no choise, new Mack!
The problem of old truck - you cant be sure no hiddent defects.
