Ya, I wonder if they get chipped a little extra for being on the show or if its just tv time that's the perk? Maya got a good gig out of the deal. Now she's making money selling bikini photos and signing autographs at truck shows!

I would say the drivers that have been on the show since the start are making anywhere forom $50,000 to $100,000 a season. I was reading the regular newspaper and saw an article on that show about the jersey shore and they make $150,000 so who knows what they make but it's more than they make driving for sure.

I agree that Alex is the best driver on the show. His problem is he's been in the outback too long and no one will laugh at his jokes so he's got to do it himself.

What a disgrace Maya turned out to be. All that talk about just wanting to be a driver was all bull I guess. It sure looks like she's using other skills to promote her so-called trucking image.

Alex actually is a ''real'' driver and has written a autobiography and explains how he got into trucking. He actually used to own his own company with heavy equipment. He did mention that he does not make that much money from the 'show' but does make money for apprearances etc.

I think Lisa has been replaced by the ''kid''- what is the difference between a whiny newbieish woman driver and a almost Billy Big Rigger in a newbie? Lisa cries and the new kid whines.......
Lisa was put on the show to 1. get mens' attention (it worked) and 2. to not make the show seem so predjudicial

Hugh is a crazy crazy dude and I agree how did he EVER pass the DOT physical?????

Rick dyed his hair blonde? why-did it go to his head?

I watch the show for entertainment purposes too- living with someone who drove 17 years I know this show is to sensationalize driving. In someways it has made driving more of a ''better'' thing to do ( maybe drivers won't looked down up as badly......) and they also cut the scenes the way they want to if you consider there are 100s and 100s of hours of tape.

These aren't predictions. These two are going to happen eventually in the season, just like they do every season.

Rick dyed his hair blonde? why-did it go to his head? LikelyFigured LISA did fairly well as a Blonde so he would give it a try.

Hey now I think it's a great show, I watched one episode and I now know everything there is to know about trucking. I also learned everything I need to know about survival from Bear Grills, I know all there is about shooting from watching top shot, and I can hunt gators like an expert. Heck I even watched a show about logging once, don't look all that hard to me. LOL

What I'd like to see is a show about bull fighting......... you know someone would go out and try doing that after watching it on TV.
