Ok, Its the same truck I drive all the time but when I hook to our rgn and I pull off I can feel the trailer bump and the same when I go to slow down, its like the kingpin is moving back and forth in the fifth wheel and it does the same thing with another trailer I pull. The RGN has it where I can pull the kingpin out and move to another hole so that one might have a reason but the other trailer is fixed. Its been going on for awhile now and I cant stand it anymore.Whats wrong?

Could be a little play in the king pin jaws. Check the fifth wheel locking pins and see if they are wallored out. Grease everything real good too. It sounds as if there is a little play in something. Are your airbags fully inflating? I doubt this is it, but check your springs and shocks too. Check your driveshaft, yolk and universal if there is something wrong with them it could make it feel like the trailer bumping. When you do find out let us know.

Well shocks do need to be replaced, seem to be stock from 07. Air bags seem fine and Im pretty good about keeping up with greasing. Its a Fontaine 5th wheel. Ive always drove for someone and we just put in the shop and get it fixed but where I work now I actually get to have hands on so what am I looking for? How do I adjust it?

If it was just the RGN I would recomend checking the lock on the neck, but with another trailer in the mix I agree that the 5th wheel needs adjusted. Wear on trailer pins and the 5th wheel is needing adjustment.
