Dont feel too bad, he does the same thing to me and about 100 other people on this forum. He knows all and there is nothing he is not an expert on and no one he is not more intelligent than. Just look at all his previous posts and you will see what I mean.

Now we can get back to having intelligent conversations about freight hauling without fear of being flamed by someone with obvious anti-social issues. Thank you moderators.:biggrin_25519:

Have never left there sooner than 6 hours after my scheduled appt time. And they are real ######## when you try to politely ask approx how long do you think it will take. Last time I refused to leave from the dock, pulled far enough away so they couldnt lock my trailer in and started watching movies. I was 4 hours over my 14 at the time they finished loading me. Was told to move. I told them no that I was out of hours and that no one seemed to care when I was trying to tell them earlier. Guard said you cant stay here you need to move. Again I told him I was not moving as it is my licence not his if something happens while i am moving to park. He said they would call the cops if I didnt move. I said that would be a great idea, please go call the cops and tell them that you want me to drive when I am out of hours because you kept me here 8.5 hours. I never saw him again and i did my legal 10 and pulled off in the morning.

Yeah, it was actually a little funny at times... as my friend did have several heated talks with his now former boss about his pay and the Texas felony warrant. My friends uncle deals with scrap metal, and I remember him telling me one of things he did, was take a picture of the bosses trailer.... sent it to the boss via his cell phone... then take a picture of acetylene torch send it... then take a picture of a scrap metal pile and send it to the boss.... Meaning, you don't pay up quick, I'm gonna cut the trailer up and scrap it. I laughed my butt off when he told me this...

I guess drastic situations call for drastic measures sometimes. A lot cheaper than hiring a lawyer and going through 5 years of court battles.

That would actually be a pretty good trick to get them to unload you quickly. After you have backed into the dock go inside and tell them that you are out of hours in one hour and you will not be able to move your truck so they better haul arse and get you unloaded. Of course this would only work after you have backed into the dock. If you tell them that before you back in they are likely to tell you they will unload you tomorrow when you have plenty of hours. This would especially work at those places where they are tight on dock doors and truck space.

    Ok Trucker,
I have been riding around with my Husband for about a month. I have seen some bad companys, the worse is the meat places, they hold you there for 24 hrs. This is carzy and someplace our out in no man land, no place to eat, drink, our the use of a bathroom.
So we have figures this out we call ahead. This way we can stay at a Truck Stop that has everything in it...
I will just keep the companys name MEAT MARKET....

The Guy running the shipper office at USG Interiors Inc. in Greenville Ms. is very rude. Everyone else is just fine. He has no respect for anyone, a real smart ###. Also , Woodcrafters/Tan in Weslaco, Tx. is very bad if you're not a Mexican. Supposed to get unloaded once there, and ended up waiting for 4 days before they would let me in. Kept saying I didn't have an appointment when I did. And when they finally did let me back to a portable dock, took them 5 hours before they started unloading. Another driver from the same company went there right after me, and they done the same thing to him. My dispatcher said she'd never send anyone on her board there again.
