wow, I thought it was just me noticing fed ex trucks driving like maniacs.

true story, driving through a bad storm in WI, I slowed way down to about 35 because I could barely see and the wind was blowing my trailer all over, Fed ex truck gets on the CB and starts cursing me for going so slow, then flies by me, 6 miles down the road, he was in the median.

    I just shook my head.

That's why the forum is 'Report Bad Companies' if it was good things, it wouldn't be here.

    trucker43 Thanks this.

Same in Houston..... .32cpm to pull pups, hire anybody, always flying or in the ditch.

While adding the standard statement qualifier: I am speaking of the green logo contractor guys, not the red logo company hands whom I think are / were union and not the FedEx Freight guys.

Before the red logo fedex was bought out, it was known as american freightways, even back then they drove like morons.

To each his own Spyder....your exp. with them is yours. Several years back I had a waste haul going from the dome to the rock. I hooked up with 4 American Freight drivers every nite going back and forth ( plus an occasional Cooper driver as long as he kept up ) . Fine gentlemen, good drivers and all had solid years in. Always wondered if they made retirement before they pulled the mat out on them.

American Freightways was THE non union job to have in Houston at that time. ( in freight )
