    Guess what?
We only have that portion of the story that you tell us.

And so far, it is that you want to avoid a DOT inspection because you are running with unsafe equipment.

Oh, and your attitude in general.

Oh guess what? I tried to refuse the trailer. They told me to take it to the nearest TA and have it looked at. The company only replaced one bad tire on it, with the othersstill being out of spc. If DOT caught me with it, it goes against me! My CDL, my CSA score, my driving career. So if you want to know more, just ask. Btw..don't speak of attitudes with the likes of yours!

    It's simple.
You simply refuse to drive with unsafe equipment.
If your company won't fix it, then you don't drive with it.

Like someone else said, pull it in to the station and request an inspection. Then you sit there until your company sends out a repair truck to fix it.

Or, you could explain to your company that that is what you intend to do unless they get it fixed properly at a TS - which would be much cheaper than at a scale house.

And it's not my attitude that is the problem. I was only stating the obvious.

They have forced dispatch..I tried everything I could to not pull that trailer to CA. It was either take the load or be fired.

I'm calm, lonehound..just don't like being treated like I'm an unsafe driver or something. I asked one simple question and get attack by "keyboard strokers" and tanker yankers. I love my job and don't want my career flushed down the toilet because of the company's equipment.
