I was just curious about if you had to ask for a reset of if you could just take one.

Technically, if you are under a load you cannot take a reset since you are still responsible for the load.

That's not really true. I take loads home over the weekend every week.

Yes, but you have a safe place to park it and enough time on the load to still make an on time delivery.

Trouble is, it will be flushed if you are caught hauling unsafe equipment.

You are the one that will be held responsible, even more so if it causes an accident. And in that case you may not only get points or lose your job, you could be in jail for a very long time. You might have even killed someone.

No job is worth that kind of risk, which is why we are so down on you for using the standard excuses to pull unsafe stuff.

An unsafe driver is not only a driver that drives poorly, it is also a driver that does not do the responsible thing by refusing to drive or haul unsafe equipment.
In that regard, you are an unsafe driver.

You really need to get away from that company as fast as you can.

Nightwolf my family and myself live in Southren California. I want to thank you for putting my family and myself at risk for pulling a unsafe trailer. You are totally responsible for any unsafe equipment you pull. Yes you are an UNSAFE DRIVER because you used an unsafe piece equipment.
