Thanks for the welcome ORD. I do have a question for you. I've already obtained my cdl class a permit do I need to get the hazmat endorsment on that? Or do I just test for that once I pass the skills test and aquire my class A license?

In most cases you will just add that endorsement after you get your CDL. I checked on the hazmat endorsement. It is not something you can just walk in to the DMV and take if you have not already gone through the FBI background and fingerprint check. Once that clears then you can test for the endorsement.
