    Dairyman,
We got a half inch Thursday over here on the east side of IL. Not sure what they got over RW's way. I would guess they were blessed with a little more.

I don't remember where you live in KY, but my folks live in Madison County and they've had just over 7 inches in May. We have been about the opposite.

    dairyman Thanks this.

We got about .2" Monday night I think, and another .2" Thursday before I left. That's better than nothing, and at least it has cooled down so its not drying out as fast as it was last week. Crops look great so far, deer eating the beans are the worst we've ever seen. Replanted about 5 acres so far that deer have ate.

    dairyman Thanks this.

No wonder your deer are 8 feet tall.

8 miles east of Danville,8 miles north of Lancaster near a little town by the name of Bryantsville. Yep,Madison county/Richmond area has been getting a ton of rain over their way. I don't get over that way very often though,52 and 1295 are both rough little roads and i would have to run north to Lexington, then south on I75 to stay away from all the curves.

Glad ya'll got a decent rain.

Harvest is still stopped since the rain Wednesday night. Hopefully they start soon before the outsiders haul all the grain out of the small elevators. The elevators were overflowing until the rain hope they can fill them up again.

Best wheat crop I have ever harvested, in my whole life! Slow going, but fun cutting! Elevators quit shipping out first part of the week, think they can hold the rest for awhile. The 2-3 days we were stopped cutting because of wet weather, let them get caught up on their hauling. My son is back to hauling out of the field for me, instead of out of the elevator.

Running elevator to elevator. Should be doing this for a couple more days anyway. Coadman glad you had a good crop especially after last year. Believe we'll have some wheat to haul this winter.

    Coadman,
Glad you guys are seeing good yields this year. Do you haul any in to the Danville COOP?
