I had an idea;

I propose we all record our days driving.
I currently do this.

We can start a Youtube channel and call it "stupid drivers" or something and capture, edit, and submit footage of people doing stupid stuff that I (as a NEW GUY, even) see DAILY.

Good idea? - not to get off topic (as I usually do)

 

I'll take the 5th on that one, besides I'm not very photogenic .

 

Or do it the way it is suppose to be done in a kind and courteous manner and call it " NICE ROAD TRUCKERS "

 

Are you kidding me? Do you know the name of the show? I've gotta see this.

 

Forget Ice road truckers...........Watch "American Trucker" All real, no drama, no scripting....Shows all aspects of trucking, shows all kinda of trucks and actually will teach people about trucking that dont know anything about it. A good respectable trucking show.

 

OH, so today I remember somethin about Rick I didn't like..

Nothing was "good enough" for him. A constant complainer and big mouth. Talked a mean game but did you notice when it came down to it he knee jerked and approached things differently.

I mean, I'm sure we are ALL guilty of this on SOME level. Ya get steamed, say something strong, but then a calmer head prevails.
It was pretty constant for this guy if I remember.

Oh, and Hugh was running waste water from the sites. And he never complained about that. I respect that.
Rick was running garbage out to the dump site and complained every second of the way there and back.
He intentionally beat the heck outta his equipment. Dunno - did he think he was "getting back" at his boss or somethin?lol
Or maybe he REALLY wanted that down time to drink beer and needed a valid reason why.

 

Hugh can get the job done and proved it with the HONEY WAGON truck as well as running solo in South America , they portray him as a hot head but thats in the script. Rick is just a whiner and bailed on Hugh in South America when things did not go in his favor.

 

Ya, I'm not a big fan of that Phil guy. He just seems like the company "brown noser" that is in a position of authority.

 

I think that fat pos "pork chop" should have stayed in his werner truck, he's just making all truck drivers look bad. Anyone else remember a member here named pork chop from SC that had posted about wanting to do the ice roads? i wounder if thats the same guy???? either way i almost died laughing when he said "im not a steering wheel holder" as he's grinding the crap out of the transmission on national TV


I dont understand why rick and hugh keep signing up for this crap, they just make them look stupid and reckless.


That young kid is gonna get someone killed


And the guy from MT is either going to do fine or fail miserably from his ####yness.



This show has gone to crap, at least before the show was about how dangerous the roads were and how "skilled" and "brave" these drivers were to run these roads, now they are all about getting people to watch the show for the drama and whatever. Enjoy it while it last, this should be the last season.
